From the moment you step inside, you’re embraced by a cozy, family-owned atmosphere that feels both inviting and intimate, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal or a comforting feast.
The star of the menu undoubtedly lies in their exceptional pho selections. Whether you opt for the Pho Chin Bo Vien Soup with tender beef meatballs, the richly aromatic Beef Pho, or the delicate yet flavorful Pho Tai Nam Gau, Tai Gan, each bowl is a masterclass in balance — fragrant herbs intertwine with deeply savory broth, carrying the warmth of slow-cooked bones and fresh spices. The broth’s depth is nuanced, savoring both the traditional and slightly sweet notes as some reviewers have kindly noted, while the tender slices of meat melt effortlessly with every spoonful.
Complementing these signature soups are an array of vibrant dishes like Goi Cuon Fresh Summer Rolls, which deliver a refreshing crunch wrapped in translucent rice paper, and crispy Fried Spring Rolls bursting with savory filling. Fans rave about the Bo Bun Hue and the sizzling Lemongrass Beef, where fragrant lemongrass and spices dance on the palate, pairing beautifully with each bite. Don’t miss the indulgent Curry Chicken Fried Rice or the perfectly grilled Suon Nuong (spare ribs) that many customers have praised for their tender juiciness and bold flavors.
TC's Little Taste of Saigon also serves up refreshing beverages that stand out on their own, especially the Cha Phe Sua Nong — the traditional Vietnamese iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk — which has become a beloved favorite for those seeking a cooling, energizing sip after their meal.
What truly sets TC’s apart is the genuine care reflected in both food quality and service. Customers consistently highlight the freshness of ingredients and the authentic recipes passed down through generations. The owner’s warm hospitality only adds to the memorable dining experience, creating a sense of community and belonging that can be hard to find elsewhere.
Though parking can be a minor challenge, this is a small trade-off for the unbeatable value and welcoming vibe inside. Prices remain very reasonable, making TC's Little Taste of Saigon an ideal destination for flavorful Vietnamese cuisine without breaking the bank.
In sum, whether you’re craving a steaming bowl of pho filled with rich, fragrant broth, fresh and crunchy summer rolls, or a flavorful curry rice dish, TC's Little Taste of Saigon promises a little slice of Vietnam right here in Ridgewood — delicious, authentic, and invitingly affordable.
Incredible place! Love their pho and spare ribs over rice. The quality of ingredients is unmatched. Best place in town for Vietnamese food :)
Delicious and affordable! My boyfriend and I came here, we each ordered pho and split a pork chop over rice. The iced coffee w/condensed milk and the soda lemonade were also delicious. It was a cozy and comfortable place, the lady/owner is so sweet. $50 for everything after tip - can’t beat that. We will be back!
Nice little Vietnamese eatery, good size and decent taste, a little on the sweeter side and less beefy taste for the broth. Vietnamese ice coffee was good. Decent price for the serving size. Fried spring rolls were good. Parking is a little tricky at the back but manageable.
Delicious Vietnamese food! The broth is so flavorful, and I love that they have homemade hot sauce. Friendly and attentive staff, and it’s family-owned, which makes it feel even more welcoming. Only thing is that parking is tricky but manageable.
We ordered TOM XAO CARI XA OT CAY which is stir fried curry and lemongrass, HU TIEU XAO CARI CAY which is rice noodle w/curry chicken and Pho Do Bien which is rice noodle seafood soup. My take was a little different than my husbands, so I’ll give you both. The price were very reasonable, albeit the portions were more like lunch size, but for me it was enough. The dishes had a decent amount of noodles but could have used a bit more protein and vegetables. I thought the curry dishes had a nice sweet curry flavor but I didn’t taste any spice in either dish nor did I get a taste of citrus from the lemongrass. I still enjoyed it and would go back again and try some other dishes. My husband on the other hand had a different experience. He said the soup was good but felt the curry dishes were very bland and lacked flavor especially salt and spice. I am not sure he will be going back with me. Overall I recommend you check it out for yourself. The jury is still out for us, but I would try it again.
Hands down the absolute BEST Vietnamese food you can get in North Jersey. I find myself craving their Chicken Pho weekly and it manages to exceed my expectations every damn time! Their homemade chili sauce is good enough to drink and the rice paper spring rolls come with a peanut sauce that you’ll think about for days. Great food, great service, great prices.
